OK, thanks. No way is this driver going to do 120 Hz in a TH since its HF mass corner is ~64 Hz, so was going to do some TLs, but I see bjorno has stepped in.

For what I was thinking ( the bottom octave on the big OB ) I need to fill in below 80Hz, I could go down to 40 I suppose but that may send too much LF energy to the X-Max limited woofers. Would a cut-off at 60 work?
Never having worked with tapped horns I was thinking that you would need a smooth 1 or 2 octave overlap between driver sections to get good integration, as in any multi driver implementation

Hmm a vertically or horizontally opposed ~10 ft^3 cab doesn't seem all that large to me.
??? A TL can get to 120 Hz, just not a tapped variant except at high compression and heavily stuffed, so little, if any, advantage over a simple TL.
As a general rule you want a ~flat half octave on each side of an XO point per slope order and since 4th order is the most common for subs, you only need ~ a half octave or 0.707x - XO point - 1.4142x, so you need HF response to ~113 Hz.
That said, you can use an acoustical XO, i.e. the electrical + acoustical roll off. Put the XO in a deep dip to get up to get a much higher slope order on the sub side.

With SWMBO looking over my shoulder anything bigger than a foot cubed is BIG. Renovations mean WAF is getting lower and lower, although outside it wouldn't make much difference I 'spose.
Looking back at my post even I am confused by what I meant to say.
I am going to leave this woofer on the shelf for the short term. There are more urgent matters to deal with.
