hey i'm not behind, if it hadnt taken 1.5-2 weeks to gather all the coin and get the order through, the resistors would be almost ready and mightve avoided the Xmas period, which I guess is why the order is taking over 3 instead of the normal 2 weeks.

these I feel would be more challenging to destroy, I could just pour them into the congealed Auricap puddle and reignite, but I fear that would only marginally shift their resistance, I would need to get more creative

just in case anyone missed it and to avoid the Q being posted again. caps are here already, Zfoils wont be ready till around Xmas, usually takes ~2 weeks but the size of the order plus time of year extended that to just over 3 weeks I guess. i'm not making individual shipments, keratherm is all cut and ready, all will be shipped to regional distributors, that makes the most sense I think.

thanks Mike, will do. I had pretty much counted on the same people who did the boards if at all possible. will let you know when I have tracking on the resistors, thus have a better estimate.
Since the topic of speakon came up during discussions on the enclosure, I'd like to ask if anyone has experience using them for solid core wires? I use solid core, 1.5 sq mm (~16 awg) wires for speaker cable and I'm basically wondering if they will work with speakon. Anyone?
Yes. They are as good as another fancy plastic plug maker that is well.known in hifi world....Eichmann, i think.
I am pretty sure there are speakon connectors/sockets with solder cups so I'd suggest you look for those rather than the screw fixing versions.
