yeah I can handle that, as I dont think that will be too large and I was planning to make an order with them soon anyway. now that i've actually used the board for a while and have a better idea of what they are expected to dissipate, we can use them for both power resistor positions (2 x 200R and 2 x 400R per channel) i'm using 2 x tx220Z @400R and 2 x TX220S @220R. I initially thought the 12W rating might not be enough for the 200R position, but its fine.

Hi Qusp

I am the first one to join the GB for zfoil and please also count me for the keratherm red isolation pad. Mundrof Gold/silver is a good Cap and PartXconnection offer very good price.

I would certainly recommend enclosures be considered for a GB as the requirements for these NTD1 IVs are a bit unique, not many other IV stages produce this sort of thermal load. Some earlier builders have had heat issues caused by insufficient heatsink combined with very small enclosure. This forced them to run the NTD1 at a less than optimal setting, which seems a shame considering the design.

Having said that, I have pulled out of the NTD1 pcb group buy, so I would need to take my name off the enclosure GB list.

wow OK cool, i'll be a bit scarce around here till Saturday night, but i'll put some thought into other stuff. other things to consider are proper nice Fasteners, hex type, Rcore transformers if we can get a suitable voltage without getting 500VA. LCD etc i'll go back and have a look at the list I made out some time ago repost that and get comment. we'll keep everything open till next week at some point so everyone can see it and rough out a bit more detail
