Hello every body
I just finish my first ALEPH 5 diy project
Very hard job for the case but good result.
It drive Pierre Etienne Léon ML4 with no hum.
Incrédible sound from my source REVOX B226.
Some data :
Dual mono contruction.
Transformer 2 x 30 V 500 VA / channel.
Filter (CLC) : 4 x 68 000µF - 2 x 2,3 mH / channel.
Température : 55°C on heatsink.
Weight : 30 kg.
Many thank too Mr. PASS & KRITIJAN for his good fine PCB.
Thierry BASSAL.

Very nice metalwork. I like the recessed bolts
How long did it take you (my Aleph is a year overdue now ) ??
Are those heatsinks from Seifert?
Hello every body
Thank you for you replies
I spend a lot of time on the case because it was very difficult to put all this device in the case.
The heatsink are made in france (SEEM SEMRAC).
A lot of differents heatsinks for all purpose.
I add a soft start circuit on each channel (the amplifier is fully double mono from supply to output), it a PCB from ELEKTOR, very chip circuit, with no supply.
To protect loudspeaker output, i use a DC protection circuit, WELLEMAN K 4700 kit, very chip and easy to use.
I can connect my Pierre Etienne LEON on the speakon NEUTRIK.
You can see between the RCA and the XLR a little switch.
I use it when using the unbalanced input.
The sound is very great, with a good precision.
I am really happy.
My next project is a préamplifier for my REVOX B 226.
Regards
Thierry BASSAL.
