A multi-channel power amp for my local pub.

Greetings, Friends. I'd like to build a power amp for my local. The current amp is overheating and I believe it's not up to the job. Speakers are Bose 161 they are relatively inefficient, 82db/m or so. It's quite possible some of the speakers in the main room are wired in parallel.

Going off this Article on the building of a simple Class D amp, I would like to use 2 of these 4-channel modules for a simple 8-channel amp. Instead of a 200VA power transformer for one module, what about this 400VA 2X22v model? One of these rectifier/filter kits on each winding of the PT, feeding a 4-channel TPA3255 module.

Is this puppy gonna fly?

Thanks for taking a look!

You'd better measure the DC resistance of each speaker wire pair at the back of the amplifier.
Disconnect the wire pair from the amplifier before measuring it.

This will verify whether the way the system is wired is safe for the amplifier you choose.
If you measure more than 4 ohms, it will be ok with an amp rated at 4 ohms.
If you measure more than 8 ohms, it will be ok with an amp rated at 8 ohms.
