There has been a lot of debate on the internet, over the years about bad capacitors made in China. Bulgin capacitors on motherboards etc.
I just recieved 5 pieces of 4700uf/6,3v from Hong Kong, and i must say that the famous chinese capacitor technology really went over the top this time😀
This time it was bulgin already when i unpacked it, meaning that just thinking about using it, overloaded it😉
Can any other brands match that kind of sensivity??

That brand of caps were used in old Antec computer power supplies. I had an original Antec Sonata case, the power supply died after 3 years of use. I opened it up and found several of this brand of cap oozing electrolytic goo.
Fuhjyyu should be avoided like the plague.

Let me guess: they travelled by air. You should have asked someone to drill small holes in the cap body so that the pressure can equalise. It's your fault. Learnt this trick years ago flying with yoghurt.
Well! I need 1 cap. for the memory in a tuner and i am normally allways avoiding those chinese components but i made a calculated risk and bought 5 for 2 USD without knowing anything about it except 105c.
I normally use Panasonic FM or FC😀

I had a similar pc power supply issue somewhat recently. The psu I was using went out due to bad capacitors (G-Luxon brand), then I find out my spare psu had gone bad from sitting on my shelf for several years (brand new psu!). Jun-Fu caps.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Or maybe dragon pooh🙄
Anyway, How can they base an entire industry on a product that doesn`t work

It seems like they have the machinery to make the product and the marketing to spread it, so why not make those small changes
it takes to make a good product and create themselves a name
with a more positive pitch.😕

But why should they?
You bought their caps anyway 😀
Magura 😉
A good experience would be presented as such here and elsewhere, instead of the talk about cat pee and dragon pooh😀
But ofcourse, You can buy a cheap powersupply and pop them
when you celebrate newyear. Much cheaper than firecrackers

Several years ago (about 1999 I think) a Japanese company announced a new "breakthrough" in electrolyte chemistry. Not entirely revoloutionary, but enough of an increase in performance that it would be far more cost effective than current electrolytic chemistry. Somehow, that secret formula leaked to Tiawanese and mainland Chinese budget capacitor manufacturers. They tested it and it intially worked as specified, so they shifted all production to this new electrolyte. Unfortuneately, it was later found that the electrolyte quicky broke down over time, leading to catastrophic failure. The original company that developed the fomula never used it - they had found this degredation with time and realized the long term consequences, they just never published this particular bit of information. Now whether they intentionally leaked the formula (no pun intended) to discredit their competitors or whether it was a case of industrial espionage remains unknown. But those low cost Chinese caps made it into alot of electronics and still appear in old stocks.

Point is: once but not again, for shure😉
Why buy these in the first place? I don't think it's worth saving a few pennies on unknown products. Panasonic, Nichicon, United Chemi-Con all make reliable, low cost caps.
😕
You can now by motherboards with solid organic electrolytics with last much longer for example,

Which brings me to a question, who manufactures these capacitors?

If you meet a blond bitch
It wont make all blonds bitches😉

The reason why low-quality Chinese capacitors are still being produced... lets just say that almost all power supply units of the best and worst quality are produced in China.
Are these are Chinese capacitors. See the link?
I believe in the past there was some sort of conspiracy between companies that ensures that all PSUs die right after their 3-year warranty expires via careful calculation on the capacitors' life expectancy factoring in voltage, load and temperature.
