Hi,
actually i'm using an old amplifier that is not so good, too many bass and the sound is not so clear.
I want to try the DIY road, and I want to but a board that use a chip solution that is comparable or superior to the most of the amplifier that are selled from the principal vendor (like Pioneer and similar)
I have see that SURE sell a large number of board, that use very powerful chipset, like 150 W and more.
What do you suggest that have:
- a good and very clear sound?
- a sound that is so powerful
- a board that can be used without problem with 4, 6 or 8 ohm speaker
- the better solution that don't cost too much but when I will hear I remain astonished
I have read about TAS5630 from SURE and other chip, but I don't have some meter of paragon.
Thanks for suggestion!

I have the Sure 2x100w (based on TC2000 and STA508) and I cannot believe how good it sounds and how loud it is, with <0.05% THD at 70wpc into 4ohms.
It sounds quite good driving 8ohms, but it starts to distort sooner. For 6ohms it should be very good.
If you need more power than that, I have also heard that the TAS5630 is very good.
With a good power supply (very important) these amps sound much better than any Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, etc. that I have ever owned/heard.
You can get the 2x100w + a good power supply for $68USD on ebay. Honestly I think anyone would be shocked how good and powerful these amps are for the money.
