I've been experimenting a lot with linestages for follower amps recently and stumbled on a pair of RD16HHF1 , which are a TO220 RF mosfet with very low capacitance . These have the lateral mosfet pinout . Standard Zen type feedback with a small 7 section valve output transformer as load which has about 10H inductance , DCR 120R . I'm getting some nice sounds out of the thing , no measurements taken but I suspect it is the 'tubeyness' I'm enjoying . Well worth dusting down the breadboard for , this is by no means a finished product , more of an experiment with available parts
