Ok....
I modified the relay board as follows:
100k log pot 2 channels to simultaneously vary resistor value
4700uf 63v cap instead of 220uf cap
The result is I can vary charging time of the cap and for now fixed it at 23secs (it should be enough for the NTCs to warm up, correct?)

I followed Andrew's advice and experimented.

P.s. you can see where the holes have been drilled for the resistor/thermistor. As soon as the ntcs arrive I will be ready to fire up....also by then I will have cut down on the number of capacitors to something like 600000uf or less.
I will reuse the spraque caps for a small valve amplifier (Intrigued by valves....) since they are 200v caps
