Hi I've built a couple of clones in the past few months using much of the information posted here, and so far I have been very pleased with the results. Now I'm finally ready to build my HT Clone but I have a question regarding the power supply, specifically the bridges.
My plan is to build a 5 channel version using either LM3875 or bridged LM4780's. I have a 750 VA toroidal transformer (25-0-25) that I plan on using as the power source. I will be using MUR3060 diodes to build the bridges.
My question is would there be any advantage in having a seperate bridge for each channel. I have enough diodes for this purpose already. What are the positive and negative aspects of doing this?
Secondly if I go the LM4780 route do I have enough Juice to power 5 channels (each channel will be one bridged 4780)?
