No, he was a BRILLIANT French Doctor.
Doctors/Professors DO have reputations. My heart operation was done when I worked in Luxemburg by a French visiting cardiologist professor Charpentier. Unbeknownst to me at the time, he pioneered a method to repair mitral valve insufficiencies with a method known as 'The French Connection', I kid you not.
I found out when I started to notice that cardiologists started to talk differently to me when they found out I was a French Connection, so to say.
Charpentier was (is? this was 2004) a real star in that world.

Another milestone: just successfully soldered 2 very small MSOP-08 chips. Using the fingers of right hand and the left arm/hand.
I'm getting there.

Jan,
That is great! I have never been able to solder leads only .025" apart with my fingers. I always have to use a soldering iron! 😉
