I'm not even sure if I should respond to that...

it might be too late now but some of the cheaper vifa drivers are very good value for money. You could look at the vifa logic drivers, there is one you can get at jaycar I think it is $50, but if you know where to go you can get them for as low as $30
Tangband are also apparently very good value for money - you can get their W4 4" aluminium driver for about $50 shipped or the 3" version for about $40
The problem with a lot of cheap drivers is their response is so bad, that it is very difficult to design a crossover. It's a false economy to get drivers that are too cheap and nasty as you might end up spending more on the crossover.
cheers,
Paul
I am just totally sick of it.... I have spent like a YEAR making these speakers..

And you'll spend a lot longer listening to them, better to spend a bit more now to get it right...

I have no money....
I have still got to finish an amplifier that will even have a hope of running these speakers....
currently I have like 12Kgs of transformers, and like $300 of capacitors.... all of which cost me less than $100... but now I need a case, heatsinks, and there is NO WAY I am going to p-p these chips...
