I know, and I love it. I'd nover use a tube with such a long filament in a mobile rig though.

I have boxes of EL36 and am tossing up building a 6 tube version using a Lundahl TX I have spare for a bass guitar rig. Two minute check I did a while back suggests it'll work, but I'd need to do a thorough design, esp as I have a very strong dislike for the 12A_7 series tubes.
