8" car tft, size of projecter?, my first post 🙂
hi all, newbie here!
i'm 95% sure i want to build a projecter but im from the uk and have the following items:
triplet lense,(with 317mm sticker on it) in fact i have quite a few from ohp
a small 3inch wide reflecter ( used for icecream scope's!)
8inch cansing tft for use in car's
12volt pc's fans X3 with speed control
pc power supply max power 145watt
a old laptop 15" screen still in its case
3 big heat sinks (these are for my lightbox will show you later)
a metal case box for enclosure
a lots of stwichs buttons and wiring etc
a funnel metal was going to use this a reflecter also
also a big huge 8foot projecter screen!!! free¬! i found it in a skip lol smile.gif))))))
i need help with,
1, what size would a 8" projecter be with my triplet lense?
2, has anyone heard of a company cansing? i dont know the spec's of my 8" tft??
3, is my lense any good is that the FL 317mm?
4, which frensel lense would i need?
5, i have hooked up my 8inch tft to my xbox and it looks ok fine really!!, but whats the minimum resoultion for gaming and my tft only has compsite input so is it worth it?
6, also the screen looks white when NOT looked at straight is this a bad thing for diy projecter? or does it mean there's no need to remove antiglare?
