In my country there is a 7" car lcd Booster 7220. The only specs I can find on it are what is written on the box itself which is 800x480. I unfortunately cannot find out the lcd screen used inside. There is a person who claims has build a diy projector using the model 7210 which also has the specs of 800x480 written on the box.
Booster 7220 has a vga input as well as standard rca. My question is this. Is the fact that this 7" lcd monitor have a vga input indicate that it has a native resolution of at least 640 x 480 or vga resolution?

The viscosity of ordinary olive oil varies widely with temperature. In cold conditions (UK winter!), it can become almost solid.
I would connect it to a computer and set the
resolution to 640x480 , 800x600.... etc
When the image is most clear, that ist he native

If it widescreen 7" its probably 800x480 which is the closest to VGA for widescreen, sometimes called 2400x480 if you include the sub pixels
