This is my first post here.
I got an 6L6 SE DIY amplifier (analogemetric kit).
Now I want to try DIY an preamp follow upon schematic but with 12SN7 - G.E.
Could anybody please let me know does it become a good pair?

The circuit you posted is fully OK, but it has some 20 dB gain.
Is that a little too much ?
Is the sensitivity of your 6L6 SE sufficient without pre-amp ?

Here is the schematic of my 6L6SE amplifier.
I am not sure how much sensity of the amp.
In he manual instruction:
Voltage gain: 32dB for open loop gain and 23 dB for close loop gain

Now when you are using your 6L6 SE without pre-amp, do you feel that you need more gain ?

Because this is a power amp, but i added a VR 100k at input line to use as an intergrate amp.
Now i start with power trans first, secondary are:
2230V-0-230V/50mA (x1)
0-5.2V/2.5A (x1)
0-13V/1A (x1)
Is that enough?

... and poor thd profile 🙂 you taking signal from anode..
that´s why i use mosfet gyrator😉
