Have some 6N13S and I wonder if anybody out there in "Space" have a schematic of a lineamp/preamp/buffer with this tube? Love the size and the look of this tube, and I want to build myself a preamp. Do not need much gain, so a buffer will be great.
You would be looking at say :15W of heater power to drive , say 50K of impedance.
Not to speak of the anode current you need to get good linearity out of it.
If you can do a step back, the 12B4 makes a great linestage.

There is a ton of 6AS7G / 6N13S OTL headphone amp schematics on the 'net... just replace the output coupling cap with a smaller value and you have a good starting point.
Strange choice of tube for preamp. This tube is good for a power amplifier but its main problem is a large discrepancy in the parameters of the inside triodes.

Already built one 12B4A, great sounding amp.
The 6C19 is right in the middle in therms of heater requirements, and has a nice glow. I think that if you CCS load the plate with a single 10M45S you can make a nice 3-4X gain buffer.
Cheap as well. Ive used them in a power supply board, and that worked really well.
Mind you you really cant use more than like 100K grid leak because of leakage in these tubes. They where used in series regulators where the leakage is just regulated away by the error amplifier.

Pete Millet has done before....6080 line stage with el34 pentode as active load...A Low-Mu Triode Preamp - Pete Millett's DIY Audio pages

How about this ? Gain 1.84 ---> 5.7 dB. Zout < 150 ohms
Distortion spectrum very clean, there is practically only 2nd harmonic.

6n13s pot.-meter
Thanks for your help!!I will put a selector switch and a volumecontrol in front of the curcuit. 100K-250k pot-meter is ok?
