Thanks Bob....One of the PT Bolts can hit a Terminal Lug on the Power Switch...Ouch....
I cut 1/4" of It so that the Switch would be able to Mount Flush on the Front Panel...

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hey Ray...Can you please Post a Pic of how the Selector Switch is Wired? I has only 3 Positions, but the Case has 4 Inputs...
Sled, same here. Maybe it's reserved for some other kits. It's not designed by Siliconray. Several kits share the same chassis, that's probably the way of reducing cost. I mounted a pair of RCA there but with nothing connected.
I removed the plate behind the jamb nut. If you rotate it you can gain or loose the number of positions the switch has. I think it has 8 or 9 but you can adjust it to have just 4
No Poop? ...Learn something new Every Day..Thanks...
And, if you want to lower the Gain, it's Way Easier to just parallel the 24K...Use an OnLine Calculator...I've found that a 10K over the 24K gave 7K, it helps a Bit...Not very much, so I then tripled with a 5.5K that made it around 3K, but I think that Messed up the Sound...I'm keeping it at 7K for now until the New Alps gets here on the Slow Boat...

the knobs looks great! I will suggest adding some options such as knobs and good potentiometers for the kits
Great Idea Ray...Alps Pots, and if you can Do $10 a Pair, Shipped, for Knobs like These...
And, how about Little Metal Stick-On's for Power, Volume and Input?

I mean Little Lables for the Power, Vol. and Input Selector...
Your Knobs are Nice, but I got Mine for $9.95 a Pair, and Paid for Them a Week Ago...That's Fast Shipping...

Yes It's a good idea to make some universal lables.. power, volume etc... I will check what can do here.
Now, here you go Ray...Remote Motorized Alps, with 4 Inputs and Mute...Only 2 Inputs now, and the LEDs are kept underneath...The IR is Relocated from the Board through one of the Holes around a 6AU6, and it's powered from the 6X5's 6.3V...It really Sounds and Works Great! It's the Best Upgrade Ever for a Tube PreAmp Kit...
