Hi
I am currently planing the design on a tubeamp and got a problem with what kind of recifier I will use.
I have some 6D22S tubes that I want to use but I dont know how much uF I can use whit them?
I have searched everywere but cant find the data.
I have heard that they are qite robust?
I will use a 10H chocke in the power suply so how much uF can I put before and after the choke
please help?

With a valve rectifier, it's standard to use between 10 and 40uF before the choke. Any capacitance after the choke can be much larger (I have used 5,000uF with no tube damage) if their is a proper bleeder to maintain critical choke current.
I have used 2x 100uF in series (=50uF) with no problems. This is the value used in examples at the Svetlana site.
