Thanks for your helpful info. Can you tell us what do you mean by "were not capable to drive"? The max voltage swing was not enough, or it was the driver current?

But why? Isn't it only the input capacitance of the PA stage to drive, or is it something else? I've heard this statement about high power triodes that they need high current for drive, but I couldn't find any explanation for it.

Hi @sajadho1988 , in post #3 you show the OPT as being 2k5 primary inductance. When searching about the 6C33C, the recommended primary inductance typically seems to be 600R-1k2. Why did you chose such a high value?

Hi mz, I was talking about 6336 tube which is a high transconductance low mu triode like 6C33C; I was talking about the problems I faced with driving that tube.
I think for 6C33C 600 ohms to 1200 ohms would be perfect.
Minimum iron cross section for 6s33s i 16qv.cm. I wounded 5layer primary,conected in series and 4 layers (2 wire 0.9mm in parallel) conected both in
series and parallel). 1.2K:6R for my Tannoy speakers. Iron was 0.5mm thick and nothing special.We call him "dinamo lim" in my country.
