I recommend:

1)use selfbias only - 6C33C have unstability under temperature and time

2)wait at least 5 min before plate voltage turn on

3)best choice is 6C33C-B(military version) or 6C18C

I'm going to tackle this project, hope to build this as simple as possible. Also goals are to build 2 mono blocks for my efficient speakers i have.

Actually collecting a small stash of the 6c33c at the moment, and thinking about a two stage SE design. Would be interested to know if anyone has tried this (I am sure there has been many). Also what kinds of driver tube the 6c33 needs on its grid? Would something like a C3g biased around 20mA be sufficient, or does it need a beefier driver?

Hey, I have two 6S33S-V-s, and I wanna build a hi-gain guitar amp, with a class AB PP output stage, maybe cathode biased. (as i read, its safer) If possible, I would like to use tubes I have for driving the output stage. I have some 6SN7GT-s, 6N2P and 6N1P-s at home. Could you help me findin a schem? Thanks
