For an AB stage, as long as both are still evenly conducting, the load is a-a/2. With a reasonable idle point you'll keep your a-a/4 line a bit safer vs the max dissipation line.

This was the circuit I was looking at. Here they used a quad 5998's
It just seemed two 6336A's would be a better fit.

I'd plate load the 6336's for one, no need to get nutsy with the drive requirements. A pair of 6336 sections in || is hardly a high output impedance rig.
