6" LCD from portable DVD player
Is this any good for a DIY project ?
Its from a Centurian in-car DVD player - i've stripped it down and the LCD comes out clean.
Its has brightness/contract/colour controls on the PCB, and has a basic AV input.
I want to project a XBox/DVD image of about 48" hopefully from about 6ft away from the wall.
Is it possible with what i've got our should i be going with a Mega Pro game projector ?
If the screen is suitable, can someone point me to the right project.

If it's a 16:9 screen, it is probably 480x234 resolution. While not a great resolution for projection, it does work ok. I was running a 7" monitor with the same res on top of a 3M OHP with good results. 100" diagonal from about 14'. So 48" at 6' sounds somewhat close. You can see my results HERE , 5th post down.
