5 inch full range speaker cabinet. 80 Litres!?

Box size and possible vent tuning will affect only say 2 lowest octaves, around resonance frequency.

What is your goal regarding low frequency range and maximum sound pressure level? Will you place them near the wall or on stands? Does your amplifier have tone controls?

Well, I know that with a full range speaker it would be best to eventually get a separate subwoofer to take the strain of 100hz and lower. I will be moving the speaker around the room wherever I am practising. For now I will be using a cheap solid state amplifier, but soon will be looking into getting a monoblock tube amp.

I am going to make the cabinet out of concrete in a sphere shape, so this should help it perform better near a wall?

So would it still be ok using the previously calculated box size of 30L with the stuffing, or would I have to recalculate?

It sounds like a good plan imo, the Qtc will come down a little from the .96 most likely, which is probably best. You'll have some flexibility to tune it. You can always but a block of styrofoam inside if you want to go the other direction. Remember your driver is going to break in until 50 hours or whatever, I would just stuff it until it looks stuffed to begin with.

Yes the qtc on the pdf is .96

If I wanted .707 the cabinet size would be 69.54L

This is way bigger than the 30L stated on the PDF. How would the different sizes sound different?

I don’t mind building the cabinet to be 70L if it will perform better than 30L.
