Silver foil is used here to decorate sweets, and gold foil is used in super expensive sweets, and some Ayurvedic medicines.
It is made by hand hammering sheets between leather sheets or sheep intestines till the needed thickness is achieved.
Seen it done in the old walled city of Jaipur, 1976...
Still made in many parts of North India, slowly fading away.
I suppose it can be done for copper as well, hand made foil.

Strip foil technologyDear friends,
I just found these in the Neues Museum in Berlin. Possibly 4500 year-old electrolytics. If anyone knows hieroglyphics they could perhaps translate to give values, manufacturer etc.

Eternity guaranted.
Btw there is no soot in the pyramids because it was drawn to be ovoid and that is what happens when you give to blind workers from Bangladesh a stadium to construct! Zero mystery, this is just a real estate company that reduced costs to death... look there is only two stories and three rooms and you had to sign the papyrus before the visit.... Most of the time the customers were dead before the building was ended.
