Hey Jesse, what's the best way to get rid of room effects?
(besides ceremonial herbs, that is)
did anyone get a total count of speakers actually auditioned?
and how many with crossovers ( IIRC that's easy - 3, wasn't it?)

some of the crowd discussing Terry's 2-way with its uber-simple crossover 😉 ...

Why, get rid of the room, of course!
😀
Jess
enough teasing, show us the crossover.
I'm sure there were amps with a lower parts count (eg the Paramours)

Jess's DIY turntable & KYW phono stage (with its top off) and a really lovely line-stage from a fellow Vancopuver Island DIYer (sorry, I forgot his name - Dave could you please supply?)

Hemp Acoustics Question.
I did not get a chance to listen to the Hemp Acoustic in the open baffle (in front of the 'warehouse').
How does the hemp acoustic compare to the Visaton B200 or the Fostex that were used in the open baffle?

PS: the bit of copper-colored artwork on top of Terry's 2-way is the XO - not sure if it was constructed that way for visual or sonic appeal

with Terry it's always a bit of both - and gotta have fodder for story-time
Greg's pretty little linestage, feeding Chris's power-amp (just like Chris, it works as well on its side as upright) driving the new Mileva - a superb combination:

great food, good conversation and as allways, excellent music.

All the usual suspects! Late listening in the no-room. Scott is, of course, happy no matter what is playing and Ruth (bless her untiring soul) looks on with maternal patience.

a serious (!) conversation on the back deck (the no-room). Is Barry applauding or just brushing the BBQ'd salmon off his hands?

OK, Boys - lets tip this chicken-coop! (I guess we had to do something to use up all the excess testosterone).
