I'm new here but have read a lot of, and been inspired by, Saturnus Boominator-thread. I started building my own boombox that was meant to be fitted with an Amp32 from 41Hz. Unfortunately I have problems getting what I order from them. During the summer I have ordered and payed for a total of four Amp32s but getting no deliveries and only strange responds from the site administrator. Can anyone here confirm that they have bought something from 41Hz this summer and actually got what they ordered, or is the shop down for business?

Ok. Might just be bad luck for me then. I don't get to register on their forum either. Seems like the guys at 41Hz don't like me. They like my money though...
There are a number of complaints about lack of communication and no stock issues.
A good idea to leave this company well alone or make sure all payments are via paypal or visa.

I sure hope so and hopefully we'll sort it out. I'd still like to have the amps. But based on the responds I doubt it.
I have never been able to register on the 41hz forum, I have tried twice with two different logins. Its frustrating not to be able to work through problems with the kits with other users...

I bought a kit AMP 15 PS-XP ...
delayed delivery of availability, incomplete instructions, BOM list and distracting, never any response by the administrator, download documentation difficult, impossible to register in the forum. A bad club.
I had to look in the datasheet of the Tripath what was missing
at the end of the card works fine ... but not with their help.

41hz is so 2006. Things have come a long way since then. I hated their kits and found their old forum full of people who had problems, problems that were blamed on buyers' inexperience. Documentation was scant and the website was cumbersome. It's an obvious side project controlled by someone who has better things to do. There was an air of masochism. If you want to 'challenge' yourself with diy then their kits are a great way to do so. But be prepared for a potentially drawn out process of emailing and forum posts. And the forum access has changed several times. I was not able to access either several years ago. No thanks. Not to mention there are better chips and kits out there now than tripath.

Shipping : No news ...

No news, and no change of my command status...
If anyone has can help me to join 41Hz ... I am not in a hurry but that would be great to get some news from him ...

Well ... It is not if you are not expecting some answers from them (him actually).
I had some questions but no answers, i found the answers here, and i got my amp6 quite quickly after ordering (all of my questions staid unanswered at 41Hz, so don't worry about that, just wait a couple of days).
What did you order? If it is a kit to assemble like Amp6, i think there will be no problem, just be patient.

All I have is a Paypal payment comfimation email to show for. Strange that people think they can do business like this. I'm only 36Euro's out of pocket, so we'll see how she goes..

I've dealt with Jan at 41hz a number of times when buying kits and replacement chips and there's been no problems, admittedly not recently.
I do understand that he sometimes gets a little overwhelmed by the success of 41hz and we should remember that this is not his full-time employment.

well, it's kind of fun(or not) to read nusma's post on 26th september saying he has the same problem
and 27th sptember, just the day after saying Shipping is okay by now. Thank 41Hz, everything is fine.

..ordered on the 18, 9 days later, no order confirmation or status update, 2 emails and 1 message via website form, no replies. I’ve opened a case through Paypal, still no reply.
Whatever the explanation is for this radio silence, I’ve made thousands of online transaction in the last 20 odd years and have only ever waited this long for a reply when I dealt with a hoax website.
