40watt push pull class A amp suggestions

I can use two 220uf, 350v caps in series (with a 4.7M resistor across each) for the main smoothing.


I'm trying to keep the power supplies as simple as the amp!


Do you think AC heaters will produce too much mains hum?

AC heaters are fine for power tubes and usually fine for signal tubes. Just run the wiring properly and you're good. FWIW I use 12V SMPS for my heaters (I run pairs in series).
