Well guys...

I think a lot of people were depending on the 4" parts express LCD with Surplus shed Fujinon lens...

there are two small flat ribbon cables conecting to the LCD..on the top and the side. There is not enough room to relocate the board 😡

I ordered a 4" PSone screen, its on the way should be here tomorrow...
Already have a Fujinon lens...

Anyhow.. I am thinking I might want to go OHP route, starting to feel like i want more resolution.

SO: I have a 4" PSone screen and Fujinon FLAT CRT lens for sale...
would like to get $90 for the set.... cheap way to start a projector.

If anyone wants this 4" parts express LCD I am trying to sell it for $70... maybe for your car or a computer case mod, I dont believe it can be used for projection though!

4" lcd no good?!

You gotta be kidding me! I've ordered it to fu**ing Norway! That's a whole lotta money down the drains if it doesn't work...

Maybe I can use it like Verbose did (Without light source.. Using the lcd backlights..) I dont suppose this would work very well? Maybe for viewing in pitch black rooms? Not planning on using a very big screen... Maybe 3-4 feet..

This sucks :'(

that could work... i believe there would be enough room to cram the LEDs back there..althought i havent seen these particular LEDs.
i am sorry that you paid so much for it.

anyone interested in the PSone + fujinon deal?

Have you sold 'em yet, jvisaria?

I ordered the 4" module from partsexpress but it turns out they didn't send it cause of some problems with customs or something...

I would be interested in buying one of the lcd's from you. Dunno wich is better. What res is the psone module?

Would it really be feasible to mod in a few high power LED's? I'd still be willing to give it a go if that's the case. Seems like the fujinon and the PE LCD were kind of the holy grail there for a bit. Sad if we can't make it work somehow.

depending on the size of the LED's, but i think there is enough room.

I still have both available, havent gotten around to putting on ebay yet.

Which one is better? I dont know, i am betting the resolution is about the same.... i havent taken apart the psone screen yet so I dont know how it will be with the cables, but i think others have gotten the controller cards out of the way easily with the psone screens.

D'you still have the psone screen? If so, is it really 4"? I read somewhere on the web that it is 5" but I suppose there are different models available.

And how do you connect it? I saw a pic with a very strange connector.

Would be nice if you could test it... I have absolutely no experience with these small screens what so ever. I hope it can be used and isn't crippled in any way since it was designed to be used with psone (I'm guessing anyway :|).

(Btw. How do we settle for payment if I should buy it?)
