3s2p LiPo DPDT switch for Parallel and Series wiring 11.1v-22.2v for TPA3116

Hello,

I'd like somebody to double check my work. I'm interested in using two 3s 11.1v lipos @ 5AH each to power a portable TPA3116. That way, I can use a switch to go between parallel and series wiring. Parallel for efficiency @ 11.1v nominal and series for "high power" @ 22.2v nominal. Any reason I should avoid this route?

Any advise greatly appreciated.

Just wondering why not go the full step in efficiency mode and use 2 series for 7.4V nominal? The chip works fine down to 5V.

Because then you have less power in 'high power' mode 🙂

Uhm no. The high power mode he's contemplating is 6s1p regardless if low power mode is 2s3p or 3s2p.
