about reading your thread, you mean all 100 pages?

Na ill link ya or i may post the images in here.

Please could you tell me what does mean "test bed" i rear it elsewhere but hano no idea what does it mean

A test bed is basically a setup that you make for testing various configerations on the go on the same bed of material, without having to build a whole unit to test the system out. I hope that helps abit more, if not ill elaberate 😉.

would say that all depends on the setup, for instance this boy i don´t remenber right now, needed to place the bulb at 62cm. This means that he needs very small solid angle from the lamp. So a par20 would do a good work to him.

No it should be double that to match the distance of the rear frensels focal and thats why i said a par 40. I have a pro reflector here out of a pro projector and if anything it has to be moved alot before the frensels focal (about 80mm), this is because you have a distance on the reflector surface to the lamp, and this needs to be acounted for aswell when trying to line up a bulbs center to the rear frensels focal. Thats another reason why having a big reflector is no good as you get focal conflicts, and therfore rings, hotspots ect.

i don´t know what solid angle do you take from your eliptical reflector but would say it is much larger than 20 degrees. Then this eliptical reflector would not work right when placed at 62 cm.

They all vary, that is governd by the ellipsidals reflector no2 focal and your frensel size and focal. They come prety well matched for a 7inch lcd funny enough and if you wanted to go smaller on a smaller lcd just use a dual aspherical condenser system and run it in paralelle. For wider just use a longer rear frensel focal or in a worse case senario use a plano concave to diverge the light out (not the best choice).

Then this eliptical reflector would not work right when placed at 62 cm.

Thats right and theretically nothing will and shouldnt be there for starters lol.

Do you Know if OSRAM, Sylvania or Phillips make commercial lamps like the PAR30, PAR20 but with ellipsoidal body?

They do for pro projectors but range in the pro projector lamp prices so its pointless taking that route. Email 18Wheeler, he has a few up for grabs from a recent group buy, they will work fine on your lcd as i have one and tested it 😉.
