Stay away from HPS
You do NOT want to use HPS. It is very orange/yellow in color and would give you a very ugly projection image. The best thing to use is xenon, but that is very very expensive, so the next best thing is metal halide. You can purchase them on eBay, at aquarium supply sites, or on my website at www.diylabs.org.
