+/- 30VDC from toroid

The image below is part of the datasheet of an Avel-Lindberg Y23 250VA 30+30 VAC toroid transformer.

I need two 30VAC center-tapped (CT): this means two separate 30VAC with respect to CT common. I've tried a couple of diff. wiring configs, per datasheet below. The second diag. is a CT config (RED+ORNG is common 0V), but with 115VAC, this only outputs ~15VAC.

Are two 30VACs with CT possible with this transformer?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

(Note: I'm working with std. U.S. 115VAC mains.)

Since you're on 115VAC mains, you need to use the configuration in the first diagram (windings in parallel) for the primary, and the configuration in the second diagram (windings in series) for the secondary.

So 115VAC to primary windings in parallel, will give 30-0-30 output to the secondaries in series.

It works!

We're in business!
The way datasheet segregates the configs., with the horiz. rule, IMO adds to some confusion. Earlier, I though about combining these two configs, but then wussed out thinking the manuf. didn't specify this approach due to possible safety issues.

Anyway, thanks for your help!
