Greetings....
I have (2) large 3-way speaker cabinets which I will give (yup, free) to anyone willing to take on the project of rebuilding them.
You will have to be within a reasonable distance to Tucson, AZ, otherwise I have no idea how I would ship them to you.
Details:
Sountech T-18 Pro (circa 1980's?) purchased used in 1992.
Height: 61" Width: 26" Depth: 24" w/ handles & HD wheels
All speakers probably need to be replaced.....!
Always used in 3-way mode so I don't know if the passives work,
but the network is intact.
Used in a weekend country band from 1990-2000
Largest venue: 500-seat outdoor rodeo arena concert
Smallest venue: Local "honky-tonk" taverns
18" EV woofers mounted upward with a sound tunnel
12" EV mids mounted with "bullet-nose" face
2" Highs with pa cone on top
The 2 18" were removed for re-coning and never replaced
The mids: one works but connection point is loose
Highs: both working
I have photos available via e-mail
Not too many people want this type of big cabinet anymore; but they are tremendous speakers for permanent venues such as churches or club lodges. Anyone with a source of speakers could do well with these.
I now do solo work and these are simply too big. I was thinking of cutting the cabinets down to 2-ways, but hate to ruin them because they really did a good job for me for over 10 years.
Glad to answer any questions you may have; I just hope there's a fix-it guy out there somewhere...............

Oooh-aaah. I love that kind of stuff. Too bad it would take hundreds of dollars in fuel just to come see them. Hope you find a good home for them.
