Elliptical drivers should sound better; we just don't like looking at them. Psycho-acoustics has a visual component. Too bad.

Someone should make a 1.6:1 driver to fix that problem. Golden ratio 🙂

Perhaps some of you remember the fuss about Visaton B80 driver. I don't want to spark the flames here again, but I'd really be curious to know if anyone (Dave?) has tried Visaton B80 and compared it to Alpair 6 or Fostex FF85? (the whole idea being to use this driver into something like F.A.S.T)

Visaton are hard (or relatively) expensive to get over here. $77 each at Solen.
