Built the attached schematic, with a square wave response as shown in the attached plot. Not really much time to experiment these days. I used an IRF540 instead of a 520, also next time I get chance I will use an ST IRF540 instead as they have half the capacitance and twice the gm of a standard part, check the datasheets, should be good for at least 10dB less distortion. Have fun, you will most likely get to play with the circuit before I do.
