2SC4793 : 2SA1837 .... genuine or not?

Just by looking at the shape of their leads, I’m pretty sure they’re genuine.

To be sure, try weighing them, genuine ones are around 1.7 g,
while the fake samples I’ve come across usually weigh only 1.35 - 1.40 g
I measured both types.... both are in between 1.65gr and 1.68gr.....
I now need to measure capacitances and hfe when my friend brings the meter ....

Now I’m 100% sure they’re genuine. But if you’re still hesitant to use them (though you really shouldn’t be), I can help you get ones with the font style that matches what you consider “truly genuine” (they cost €1 each).

Just let me know

o.k..... checked the capacitance between collector and base using Megger capacitance meter (of some sort)... for sa1837 it says it should be around 30pF - we measured around 100pF on all 5 pieces and for sc4793 it says it should be around 20pF and we measured around 80pF on all devices...
seems to me when everything is considered all these i have are GENUINE afterall.....
so, i will instal them...
guys you were very helpful...
thank You all
