Since the IKEA Poäng (aka Poang) chair is diyaudio's official listening chair, here's a way to fit a subwoofer underneath.
Shown with 8 inch woofers in a box shaped to fit under the Poang chair or under the footstool. The main satellites could be mounted to the sub box as the builder sees fit.
I'm posting this here so it can inspire others and gestate a bit longer while I decide on the satellites...
