2ohms or more ... good quality speakers?

I am not sure if this is the right section, but if a moderator thinks it should be more appropriate to be posted in the multi way section, please do it for me!
I'm looking for a good quality and probably higher SPL than usual pair of 2ohm speakers for a germanium amplifier that cannot withstand high currents and high voltages. It can deliver 1... 3 Amps and up to 6...7v rms and that's just all about it...so i'm looking for a nice speaker or multiway speakers that can move very well on this "magnificent" output.
It may be that a 4...8 ohm regular high spl speaker would do the job, but i'm not experienced in this area so i'd like to hear your advice. I thought that maybe the Fostex fe line would be a good value for the money and pretty sensitive but i'd like to keep this topic open for anything around the idea cause i might not have anything against going active and multiway thus multiplying the power with each additional amplifier although I wouldn't look to power anything more than just a normal living room like 5/4/2.5 m yet if it's a padded room it may need more watts than what I'd expect.
Thank you!

I think I heard that in the old days the ratio between woofer : mids : highs was smth around 100:10:1...but i also heard of another ratio where woofer : mids+tweeter would be 50:50...just not sure abot the context. If someone could explain what's the right power ratio depending on the type of speakers like open baffle vs bass reflex vs passive reflex or other type of box i'd be all ears.
Full range is usually one of two type, either the coaxial bass+mids: tweeter (tannoy) or the more usual lauther-fostex full range speaker but they both need just one amplifier.
I'd probably need to read a few specialized books to really undestand this field but I don't feel like I have the time for it. I did some diy experimental electrostatics that being my only trial on speakers, but i don't see them driven with a low voltage amp as high a transformer ratio would probably kill the bandwidth .

6V on 2ohms gives 18 Watts. You dont need super efficient speakers with that, 90 dB/W/m should give enough SPL in a room of given size.
I dont know any project with 2ohm impedance but making 2ohm speaker system is not a problem. For eg you can use two 4ohm FR drivers in a 1,5 way layout. Or two 4ohm midranges plus one 4ohm tweeter in a MTM or TMM layout. Or FAST/WAW with 4ohm FR plus two 4ohm woofers.
Choice of 4ohm drivers are not good as 8ohm, but you should check speaker webshops and see whats available, decide what you wish to make, and then we could give you more specific answers.
