I just found out that I won second place in the Circuit Cellar/Microchip design contest. A cool $1000.
I designed a distributed motion control system with a:
1) USB-CAN adapter.
2) Credit card sized Dual Axis (stepper and closed loop servo) controller with built-in amplifiers.
Both boards feature the PIC18FXX8 controllers.
full featured PID controllers.
Software mostly in C, some assembly..

HI Guys,
Thanks. The complete documentation may be published in an upcoming article in circuit cellar. It will also be posted on-line at the circuit cellar site.
Hopefully, my partner and I can turn it into a small business.
