I have built the 2001 edition of the JE Lab 2A3 monoblocks. It sounds so sweet and smooth.
It is really difficult to tell what it sounds like because the components choose have a lot of effect on the sound as well. Therefore, it is real fun to explore the effects on the sound with various components such as OPT, coupling capacitors, power supply capacitors, rectifier tube etc.

Thank you I am going to do this one its my first amp, just trying to put the list of parts together now will probly start next month. Speakers are 95db and the 15 woofers are SS biamp so I am looking for that good midrange and a clear highs from the SE. I am going to be using a Blue Circle BC 21 pre so I am going to have to make sure everything will match up.
The SRPP version is what I built. Sounds good to me, fast, detailed, very good control in the bottom end. Sounds even better with RCA 2A3 🙂 good luck!
