Sure. They're like a rebottled or mini... uh... well I forget what they resemble. I know Colt45 keeps thinking up designs to build that he's too lazy to finish.

Given plate dissipation, you can get at least as much power as a 6V6 per bottle. Maybe a bit more near class B since it's a sweep tube (higher peak current).

A quartet of yours would be great since the heaters can be ran off line (yeah yeah, :att'n:, but the heaters and cathode are designed for this service, mmm'k), plus a small dropping resistor to bring it up to 120V.

I think I ran mine 300v plate, 200v screen, and 400ohm (??) Rk w/ 5kohm OPT. That was a touch over ratings though, I think 13w or so vs. the rated 11(?)

Sounded pretty decent.

If you dont want them, send to me for proper disposal 😀

Say, if you found these on a "bulk flat", d'zat mean you've got like a hundred of these things? I might want a dozen for putzing around...

Tim,
We bought 26 bulk flats, Most were labeled 100 pc.
But, Alot of the flats were open partials, A few, only had 8 or so tubes. A 2 more were possibly used or pulls.
I only have 6 of this particular tube which Im going to putz with.
As we sort out the mess we bought, I may have tubes to list for sale.
Being auction season here, The Spring/summer quest for gadgets has started eating into most my free time.
