250w best ballast/light & which line doubler?
what's the best value for a ballast and mh lamp? i've seen a setup for an aquarium that was under 100 for both, but the color temp seemed too high for a projector (7000+). Oh i'd also like to know what you guys recommend for a cost effective reflector. also, i'm looking for a good line doubler and tv tuner, i'd like to have component in and if i could dvi out. however vga out would suffice as long as there's a vga in as well. I've looked at the nicest viewsonic but it's over 200 dollars, was looking to spend more in the area of 100-150 or less if i can. also, is it possible to make my own? i'd like a lot of inputs and i can't seem to find any that provide as many as i'd like, just a thought, i guess i'd limp along w/ fewer if i couldn't diy it. hoping to start work on my projector next week. i'm planning on using the cmv1515, the projector lense from diylabs.org and their fresnel as well (the 12.2x12.2 version) is that lense designed to be used with another in the sandwich layout? because that seems like the way to go, maybe i'm wrong, feel free to tell me if i am. thanks for all the help you guys've given me so far.

line doubler/tv tuner
heres a nice one thats really cheap. You can get an adapter to convert Component to VGA. Since VGA is higher quality than component, Im assuming you wont lose very much detail at all.

as far as ik the only converter for component to vga is a 300 dollar one from digitalkey. seeing as the viewsonic n6 only costs 200 or so that seems like hte best deal so far...
oh but am i right about the color temp of that bulb being too high? or am i goin crazy?
