230V<->100V converter???

I recently acquired a Yamaha power Amp made for Japanese market... It only works at 100V. I tested with the 750VA 230V<->110V converter I have, and it seems to be working fine. But my conscience is not allowing me to continue operating it at 120V converter(it actually outs 120V) for prolonged time. As per the specs, it can work on both 50hz and 60hz; so no probs there...So, I just wonder where I can get at least a 500VA 100V converter?

I have never seen one(100V converter) before anyway 🙂 So the main question is, is there something called a 100V converter? I hope there is... Or you guys think 110V is good enough and Yammy can withstand it?

The simplest way is to buy/made a transformer or autotransformer from 230V~ to 100V~, power 1.5-2x consumed power of amplifier to minimize the noise.

It depends mostly on the amp, of which you've said almost nothing. If it's a new amp with a switching PS, it's probably already compensating automatically. If it's a vintage amp with a linear PS, you may have to address it. If it's a tube amp, you likely will have short tube life if you don't do something.

Cheapest solution > you could use a small ( 50-75 VA) filament 12-14 VAC transformer secondary connected to buck excess secondary voltage of your existing setup. FWIW I think your target voltage should be closer to 105.
