220 USD budget home HT sub

yes the HE are more capable but cost more
when the guy uploaded the video the NON HE GRS was 20 bux... now is 29
so i need 4 of those that will be 120 , i have 100 bux to get the rest for the sub
maybe MDF or OBS as it will be my HT sub.

Almost to lazy to read much further
past the original post.
Glad I did and ironic

When seeing the Big old plastic gold cone
And a price point of pure impossible.

Made me instantly think.
Very cheap drivers actually perform ok
with todays mass production.

But would be called a " Troll"
Because my subjective assumption for the magic 220 dollar
sub was=
Garbage Class D amp that would often overheat
with loud music or extended operation.
Garbage switch mode power supply with a lifespan
of 3 seconds 3 days or 3 months.
Maybe 3 years if you left it off 80% of that time.

Looks like im not a troll, and the garbage died
in multiple reviews. Didnt even have time to constantly
hit thermal shutdown when used often LOL
Power supply went even quicker

As you can see with the posted GRS links.
Mass production and actual experienced
manufacturing houses. Make darn good sub drivers
at a impossible but real price point.

The problem is a amplifier that wont die.
And overheating class d modules with
dying switch modes is the " low cost"
option. And they just die regardless.
And a waste of money.

Gotta spend more for a amplifier.
Which extends the 200 budget quickly.
Or Can just buy used amplifiers
on market place or pawn shop.
Ironically finding a 5 to even 10 year
old sub in a pawn shop that still works.
Means no garbage switch mode
its actually lasted beyond its warranty.
By far better buys to hit a impossible
but real budget.

Nice points there white dragon ,
Did you think is feasible to "mod" the bic F12
Adding the parts express sonic denim thing inside the walls.

Or just plain make one br box tuned to 20 with MDF or OSB ...use the a 12 GRS HE driver and
Get a Sanway, admark or at least lase amp.
And see how much the 220 number get exceeded ,taking that difference as a token of longevity.

Klipsch cheapo sub is banned from my books and it's been prohibited to even been talk about it in my home. 😎
