You need two times port area, not two times the diameter.
2 inches diameter port area = 3.1415926535897932384626433832795 square inches.
You want to double that, so you need around 2 x Pi area.
That means 2.828 inches diameter port x 7 inches long will be same as 2x 2 inches diameter ports 7 inches long.
You better go with a 3 inches Precision Dual Flared Port and cut it a bit longer instead.

Yeah that was really bonehead on my part - I should know better.
I have the concept now, except for the end correction - but I'm wondering if it would be audible. I'd rather err on the side of tuning a little low than a little high, so calculating for a single port with the same volume as two seems to make sense.
