Just wondering if the Beyma 15LX60v2 would be able to used for a 2 way system? I have a 600Hz horn that I plan on using for the HF.
Anyone had any direct experience with this driver and if so what would be the HF limit of it?
Is there another driver that would work better? i.e. I like the 15PR400 but I am concerned about its limited xmax. Also the 15LX60v2 looks like it would work in a smaller enclosure.
Thanks in advance
Richard

What frequency does the 600Hz horn go down to or where do you plan to cross it, or is there any information on it?
No; except for some true sub systems haven't had any 'hands on' experience with prosound drivers since the early '80s, but except for its low Vas spec is basically just one of many of the pioneer's proven designs I did use (Just Big & Loud in this case). IOW folks don't 'fix what ain't broke'. 😉
I'm guessing but I'd likely want to cross that horn closer to 2kHz. At some point it's going to flip, then go wide.
What this means with your plans is you'll be deciding your cross using listening trials. You'll need to discover how low you can use the horn, how high you can use the woofer and whether they blend there or not.
