Hi everyone,
the attached schematics shows the crossover of my speakers (LUA Precision Pro 2/3D).
I have circled the part in question (2x 10uF and 8R2 parallel to the crossover.
Not being an expert I have the question: what might this be good for?
for beeing an impedance correction I am missing a coil.
I tried and took it out of the crossover and did not really hear any difference.
any guess anyone?
thx
Dieter

It's a zobel network connected across the output of the amplifier. It's may be of benefit to some amplifiers. It doesn't affect the functioning of the crossover.
Thank you Bill.
Is there a way to determine what would be the best values for this Zobel network in regard to my amp / cable combination, which is ARC VT-60 with the ARC Hyperlitz Speaker cables (6 feet).

I never heard of fine tuning a Zobel for a specific amp and cable. You might contact ARC (whovever they are) and ask them.
I would guess that 95%+ of speaker system don't include this Zobel in their product so I wouldn't hesitate to remove it and not concern myself with it any further.
