2 way crossover changing Q ???????

I know a baffle step inductor is in the path,
But on a 2 way crossover to a woofer, there is an inductor in the path with the woofer and a cap in parallel....

To me this crossover inductor would change the q of the driver.......


Is this right ??????????????????

Yes, you are right.

The output impedance of your amplifier and the resistance of the connections at either end of your speaker cable also change the Q.

The resistance of the inductor does increase the Q of the driver slightly, and
make the amplifier damping factor essentially meaningless unless it is very low.
