2-way & sub

I was thinking (I think too much, I really should do some work!) of making a pair of simple 2-ways, then build in a sub to fill in the bass.

I was thinking of building something like the Selah RC-2, it's nice and simple and won't break the bank. Does anyone have any experience with this design, or Selah's designs in general?

What are other people's favorite 2-way designs/ drivers?

I think for the sub I'm going to make a sealed sonotube, basically copying the idea here: http://kahuna.sdsu.edu/~tucker/diyaudio/sonotube/
I'm chosing a sealed sonotube primarily because it looks resonably simple, cheap, and it appears to have a low 'screw-up' potential. Am I wrong there?

Cheers,
Dave

Right now, I have just fired up a pair of my Open Baffle loudspeakers. Terrific! I am using the Seas P17RC/P08 6.5" mid-woof, and the Seas 19TNF08 3/4" tweeter. Terrific sound overall. Though, I do miss the smooth and airy sound of my Audax drivers, I'd take the clarity, openess, and overall sound of this system anyday.

Later, I will be adding my subwoofers. I will be making a pair of TL boxes to augment the low-end range. I will either be able to use a passive network or the LFE channel->seperate receiver, for the subwoofers. The drivers are the Illusion Audio LM-804s.
